What is Glance?
Glance is a curated library of 128+ production-ready animations and interactions for React, Next.js, and Vanilla JavaScript. Every component is the kind of motion design you see on Awwwards Site of the Day — scroll animations, hover effects, page transitions, text reveals, parallax, 3D effects, and more. You preview each animation live in your browser, then download the complete source code and drop it into your project.
Is the library going to be updated with new components?
Yes — Glance is actively maintained and new animations are added regularly. We aim to add fresh components every month, covering new categories and trending animation patterns. Every update is included at no extra cost for your plan tier. If you're on Pro, you automatically get access to every new component added to the library, forever.
Which plan gets the updated components?
New components are distributed across all paid tiers. Starter-tier additions go to the Starter, Plus, and Pro plans. Plus-tier additions go to Plus and Pro. Pro-exclusive components (advanced 3D effects, complex multi-step animations) go only to Pro. This means Pro is the only plan that guarantees access to every single future component, making it the best long-term value.
How can I see exactly which components are included in each plan?
Use the Plan filter on the main library page. Click the "Plan" dropdown in the filter bar and select Starter, Plus, or Pro to instantly see every component included in that tier. You can also combine it with category or framework filters to narrow things down further. Currently: Free includes 6 components, Starter unlocks 50 total, Plus unlocks 80 total, and Pro unlocks all 128+.
What's the difference between the Starter, Plus, and Pro plans?
All plans are one-time payments with lifetime access — no subscriptions.
Starter ($3.99) — 50 animations including scroll effects, text reveals, hover animations, and basic page transitions. Perfect if you need a handful of polished effects for a single project.
Plus ($9) — 80 animations. Everything in Starter plus advanced parallax, gallery components, complex menus, and multi-step loading animations. Best value for freelancers and agencies.
Pro ($19) — All 128+ animations. Everything in Plus, plus 3D effects (Three.js), advanced page transitions, premium landing page components, and every future addition. The complete library, forever.
Is this a subscription or a one-time payment?
One-time payment, lifetime access. You pay once and keep access to all current components in your tier, plus every future update within that tier. No recurring charges, no renewal fees. The price you see today is locked in — plan prices may increase as the library grows.
Can I use these animations in client projects and commercial work?
Absolutely. Your license covers unlimited personal and commercial projects. Use Glance components in client websites, SaaS products, landing pages, portfolios — anything you build. The only restriction is you cannot resell or redistribute the source code as part of another animation/component library.
Do I need to install any packages or dependencies?
Each component is a standalone project with its own setup. Most animations use GSAP, Framer Motion, Lenis, or Three.js — the dependencies are included in each component's package.json. Just download, run npm install, and you have a working animation. No Glance SDK, no lock-in, no proprietary wrapper. It's clean, standard code you fully own.
